Tru by Hilton Gananoque, ON

I stayed here last weekend for one night. The hotel is new and very nice, and also in a great location. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The room was a bit small but efficiently laid out. There's no coffee maker, which didn't matter at all to me, but to others it might. I didn't use the pool but it was very clean. The breakfast, which is included, was very good with many different options. The pancakes were delicious! I will definitely be back!

I stayed at this hotel recently, and I have to say it's a good one that I would definitely go back to if I was in the area. The location is good, it's right by the highway. The building is very new and it shows! Many other hotels are in need of updating, this is not the case with this hotel. The lobby area has a foosball and pool table area if you feel like playing. I didn't use the pool or fitness centre, but they looked good. The breakfast was decent enough with a pancake maker, eggs, sausage, bacon, hard boiled eggs, breads, etc. They have EV chargers that are free with the stay, Tesla ones as well as J1772 (those are every second charger). Beds were comfortable, as well as the pillows and the bathroom was nice and spacious. Overall a decent stay!

Awesome hotel. The room very clean and comfortable. It has a complete gym and lounge area with board games. The breakfast was veery fresh and complete! To our surprise it’s more than just milk and cereal. They have a pancake machine very modern. In general, the service was very smooth and easy and the desk agents were very nice as well. We will definitely come back!

Definitely better than two stars like it's given. I would say it's a four star the rooms are clean and decent. The white woman working at the front desk was nice however the East Indians that were here last time working there not so much. Definitely much better than a 2 star. And one of the best prices in town.

After being turned back from our US border crossing due to high winds at the Thousand Islands bridge, Tru by Hilton in Gananoque was a convenient 8 minute drive away. The parking lot had plenty of space for parking our U-Haul truck and the hotel was able to accommodate our dog. We were upgraded to an accessible suite with lots of space for our whole family. The room was comfortable with a beautiful view and we could order take-out from a nearby location. When our second attempt at a border crossing failed the next day the hotel staff was very understanding and allowed us to extend our check-out free of charge twice. They also had printing services for the visa papers we needed. The room fee included breakfast which was basic but much appreciated. We weren’t able to make use of the pool and gym amenities but the hotel was quiet and we would have had them all to ourselves. Overall very grateful for this comfortable harbour in the storm.

Let's just start of with Harry the manager.He was absolutely a gentleman. Always willing to help and make our grand kids happy. The hotel was in mint shape very clean.Our room was a nice size with a beautiful bathroom.Very comfortable beds. The breakfast girl was a sweet heart with our grandkids. She helped them get their pancakes. A was very attentive.To all our needs. Great job Tru Hilton.And Thanks again Mr Harry.

A Beautiful Stay… With a Tiny Breakfast Plot Twist! From the moment I arrived, I knew this hotel was going to be a vibe. Beautiful, spotless, and with plenty of parking (which already earns major points!). The lobby? Perfect for remote work. Comfortable, peaceful, and just the right atmosphere to feel productive while still enjoying that hotel luxury energy. Now let’s talk about the room… absolutely gorgeous. Clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. And can we please discuss the smell of the hand cream, hand soap, and shampoo? Because WOW. I almost wanted to pack them in my suitcase (don’t worry, I behaved ). The scent was divine! But… here comes the dramatic pause… Breakfast. It looked good… but flavor-wise, it was missing a little sparkle. I was dreaming of crispy bacon, rich chocolate muffins, and sausages with options like beef or chicken for those who don’t eat pork. And the scrambled eggs? They needed to be real, fluffy scrambled eggs. The ones I tried felt a bit… microwave-inspired. Not terrible, but not the breakfast romance I was hoping for. That said — everything else was truly wonderful. Cleanliness, comfort, space, atmosphere — all fantastic. With just a little breakfast upgrade, this place would be absolutely unstoppable. Would I come back? Yes. Would I gently campaign for better eggs? Also yes.

Stayed a single night to lay up through a snow storm. The front desk person on check-in (Jan 25 aft) was extremely polite and helpful. Room was clean. We took advantage of the included coffee in the lobby, and the breakfast the next morning. The morning desk staff was also very friendly. Had a delicous dinner across the road at the Casino. Perfectly situated near the 401. Recommend!
